Our staff are dedicated to providing the necessary support for those impacted by human trafficking.

Our staff is united by their passion for ensuring survivors of trafficking and exploitation are believed and supported by their community. Staff members bring decades of experience combatting violence and providing community-based services and include previous South Dakota Department of Corrections staff, social workers, law enforcement, and addiction recovery specialists.

President & CEO - One of the first things the Lord said to me was, ‘Unite a community.' At the time I had no idea what that meant, but as this has evolved, I realized people in the community did not have tangible ways to get involved. When they hear about trafficking, most people want to be part of the solution but do not know how to do that. We come up with unique and creative ideas for people to leverage their gifts and passions to serve this mission.

Managing Director of Development & Community Engagement - I think the biggest purpose of my role is community awareness, so being able to share with the community of who we are, what we do, the people we serve. I help give our clients a voice through by just sharing different opportunities that we are able to provide for our clients and how community members can join.

Director of Marissa’s House and Outreach Services - I believe in the mission of CTF because those that work at CTF truly want to help people and have the heart to serve. We are willing to push boundaries, advocate, and do the right thing no matter what that looks like for our clients.

Director of Program Development & Occupational Therapy - I love that I get to utilize my occupational therapy skills and be able to teach clients daily life skills to assist in the client in living more independently. I love that the foundation of the organization is that it is a faith-based organization and that our hearts are to serve. I also like that we can be a voice and advocate for those who may not have a voice.

Director of Grants Management - Human trafficking and sexual exploitation occur at alarming and growing rates. When I learned about the extent and nature of the violence that was happening in the place I called home, I had a moment of perfect clarity where I knew I was called to do something about it. I believe that every human being has the right to be treated with dignity and to live a life free from violence. At CTF, I have the opportunity every day to build a world I believe in.

Manager of Youth & Reentry Case Managers - Wholeness comes from all of the entities and agencies we coordinate with. We are able to provide services that hopefully brings balance to their needs. Also everyone has needs and wants and working with our clients to learn to get these met and work toward advocating for themselves to get these met.

Community Engagement Manager - I strongly believe we are called to support and serve our most vulnerable populations, and Call to Freedom is doing incredible work by meeting survivors where they are on their journey to wholeness as well as promoting awareness and prevention. I get to work with individuals who feel called to support our mission and use their unique talents and abilities to broaden our impact.

Operations and Human Resources Coordinator - When the opportunity arose for me to combine my skills in the office with my desire to serve, it confirmed to me that God knows me, He hears our prayers, and He blesses us in the most unexpected and amazing ways. We are meant to be free. Our agency and ability to choose is God-given. Human trafficking takes away these rights from innocent people. It’s an honor to work for Call to Freedom and support wholeness and healing to those who have been impacted by trafficking.

Community Outreach Coordinator - The Community Outreach Coordinator position is valuable to the organization, and the community, because it helps break down the silos of each organization and resources in the community so we can collaboratively work together to help the individuals achieve their goals.

Survivor Service and Program Coordinator - I had a calling to help and serve. Eventually I shared my past at a breakfast for CTF, bringing hope to other victims, brining about awareness that human trafficking does not know borders. My story is to help others, it isn’t about me, but what I can do to shed light on the darkness. The continuum of care model is for the whole person . Victims need more than people can understand. It is more than one service provided but looking at the person as whole.

Spirituality & Mentor Coordinator - Spirituality can be an important component to the healing process. As survivors walk through the healing process it is vital to be healthy spirit, soul, and body. Spirituality can provide hope, a sense of purpose, and community. Connecting a survivor with a mentor can also be a key component in their journey.

Occupational Therapy Coordinator - Individuals that have been sex and/or labor trafficked and/or exploited are so much more than what they have been through and it's important for them to hear that that doesn't define who they are. They are overcomers and survivors. Being able to help them along the way to see some light and to recognize they are worthy to achieve whatever they put their minds to is why I believe in the mission of CTF.

Youth Navigator - I think my position was created at Call to Freedom just due to past clients talking about that the youth need to be aware of what's going on. Some of our clients did not have that luxury when, situations started happening with them. My role plays into the awareness piece and trying to prevent things happening to our youth.

Housing Navigator - This role involves supporting and advocating for clients across South Dakota and assisting them in identifying housing options that align with their circumstances and preferences; becoming a lasting resource for them in their path to healing. It also includes ongoing development of positive community partnerships that will allow growth of the mission and options for those that we serve.

Reentry Case Manager - I think just being a positive light for them and trying to not always come up with an answer is really how we walk alongside them in their healing process. We come and let them know “I hear you, I believe you and we’re here whenever you’re ready.”

Youth Case Manager - I believe it is important to bring wholeness to individuals that are receiving services through CTF because it’s essential that we provide emotional, physical, spiritual, and mental health support to promote the best outcome for those we serve as well as their family members.

Bilingual Case Manager - I believe in the CTF mission because it’s important to remember that there is always light in the darkness. There are lots of difficult things we all must navigate through in life and CTF is a helping hand during those times.

Marissa's House Case Manager - I believe in our mission just because it really, I mean, you can't go wrong with helping people heal and if there's any way that we can spread more love and more joy into that healing journey, then that's something that I would want to be a part of.

Marissa's House Case Manager - They've gone through some of their worst things ever, and then you are able to show them, what life actually looks like. You know, I tell clients all the time, that I don't have a perfect life. I'm not a role model for a perfect life. But I'm a mom, I'm a significant other to someone. And so can be an example of what that looks like.

We are here to offer help, guidance, and hope for those that have had things happen no one deserves, and we are here to break that cycle.

Program Administrative Assistant - No person should have to go through the intense trauma that comes with being trafficked or exploited. I think our mission is important to help individuals in absolutely any way possible reenter the world with the resources they may need. Providing those resources is one thing but walking in that journey with them is what can make all the difference.
