I’m proud that in spite of my insane childhood, and the fact that we only knew each other for 10 weeks, next year my husband and I will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary.
What is your personal and professional journey that led you to Call to Freedom?
I think that all of the healing God has brought me through, as well as my own trauma, has helped me to understand what others go through in their healing journeys. I have completed several different avenues of spiritual training and peer counseling, which has also prepared me for this position.
Honestly, I feel as though I have spent a lot of time fitting into someone else’s mold, but this position was designed to fit me, my giftings and strengths.
What kinds of projects are you most excited to work on at Call to Freedom?
I’m excited to be a blessing to the clients I will work with, as well as presentations on prevention and Call to Freedom’s mission.
