Human Trafficking Awareness Training for Shelter & Homeless Services

Human trafficking is happening in our community and state. You will learn what human trafficking is, dynamics of exploitation and victimization, indicators, and much more.

Human trafficking starts with vulnerability. Individuals with unstable housing are especially at risk for victimization. This training aims to break down the intersections linking homelessness and human trafficking. We will discuss the role that housing service programs can play in preventing trafficking and assisting those that have already been exploited.
