SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) 4.8.26 – In South Dakota, the sentencing of a man involved in human trafficking is being seen as a win in the ongoing fight against this crime.
Call to Freedom President and CEO Becky Rasmussen explained why the state’s prosecution is creating change.
“Yes, he is going to be held accountable for what he did,” Rasmussen said.
Leon J. Siess will be serving multiple life sentences for first, second, and fourth degree rape, sexual contact with a child under 16, and first degree human trafficking for the sexual abuse of a female family member. He placed an ad on Craigslist to sell her.
