If you’ve spent any time on social media, you’ve likely seen photos and read stories about how a person was quote “almost trafficked” unquote at the mall after a stranger slipped a piece of paper under a windshield wiper.
While you should always be aware of your surroundings, the alarm bells and sirens sent out on social media may not be the actual signs of human trafficking you should be looking for.
