Operations and Human Resources Coordinator
When the opportunity arose for me to combine my skills in the office with my desire to serve, it confirmed to me that God knows me, He hears our prayers, and He blesses us in the most unexpected and amazing ways.
We are meant to be free. Human trafficking takes away these rights from innocent people. It’s an honor to work for Call to Freedom and support wholeness and healing to those who have been impacted by trafficking.
When did you start working at Call to Freedom? And what is your personal and professional journey that led you here?
I started with Call to Freedom in May of 2023.
In September of 2016, Tim Ballard from Operation Underground Railroad spoke at a convention I was attending. It was my first awareness of human trafficking, and I will always remember what he said about going undercover for a rescue and looking into the face of evil and acting like it was okay to do this people.
Also around that same time, I was asked to serve as a leader of my church women’s group for three years. I gained a love and compassion for women and the unique struggles and triumphs we have.
Through these experiences, I found purpose and felt drawn to work with, teach, and support women. I’ve worked in office settings most of my adult life. When the opportunity arose for me to combine my skills in the office with my desire to serve, it confirmed to me that God knows me, He hears our prayers, and He blesses us in the most unexpected and amazing ways.
