Arriving with few or no possessions, clients find immediate, dignified support at Call to Freedom. We provide essential care, catering to the needs of both the individual and their children as they begin to rebuild their lives.

Occupational Therapy
Items Needed

Occupational Therapy is part of Call to Freedom’s care team approach. When a client (adults and youth of all ages) walk through our doors. We strive to work with individuals where they are at and provide them with strategies and tools to be successful and independent in their daily living activities.

Our clients deserve nice things, and with your help, we can provide them with things that show they are cared for.

Freedom Bags

As men, women, and youth come in to Call to Freedom’s ministry, often with no possessions, they can receive a gift: instantly helpful items contained in a Freedom Bag. They are immediately shown love and support as they begin to transition out of the lifestyle of exploitation and abuse.

Care Packages

When clients reach milestones, we like to have these on hand to offer as a show of support. Care packages include, Self Care Bags, Welcome Home Baskets, Comfy Care Kits, and Family Fun Kits.

To ensure efficient use of our space and volunteers, all furniture donations require pre-approval from the Community Engagement Coordinator. Please submit photos of furniture items for review prior to drop-off or pickup.

  • No mattresses

  • No used bedding including pillows

  • Small kitchen table and chairs, living room chair, etc. must be in good condition not needing resurfaced.

  • End tables and coffee tables are acceptable as long as we have room to store it and is in good condition/clean.

  • No Men’s sizes XL+

  • No Men’s & Women’s suits, blazers, or sport coats

  • Couches and love seats must be from a pet free area, clean, and in good condition.

  • Any furniture we do not accept can be donated to Furniture Mission (we refer our clients there, too!)

  • We do not accept artwork or large decor items

  • No Heels

  • No Skirts

  • No Bath robes
