If you were a kid in the 80s then you’ve heard the term “stranger danger” at least once in your life. However, today we know that the stories of people with candy in vans, and strangers harming kids on the street are real, but not as frequent as we were led to believe.
Often a child who is the victim of abuse or mistreatment is the victim of someone they know. Leading many parents and guardians to ask, “If strangers aren’t safe, and the people we know may not be, how can my kids know who’s a safe person and who’s not?”
To answer that question, we were joined by President & CEO of Call to Freedom Becky Rasmussen, and Call to Freedom’s Bilingual Case Manager, Brandon Lainez.
